Marantz SC-7S1 700,000yen(October, 2002 release)

Stereo control amplifier which improved thoroughly each circuitry of an input/output system, volume control, and a power source, and realized an outstanding separation of 100dB or more in 20kHz in order to correspond to SuperAudio in the sense of truth.

The full balance stream composition is adopted.

The 8-unit linear control volume into which the 4-unit volume of Marantz original was developed is adopted as a volume.
In this volume, the gang error of each channel generated in the usual analog volume is suppressed to 0--100dB±0.5dB. By adding newly developed HDAM SA to this, CMRR (inphase noise-rejection ratio) improved by leaps and bounds, and has realized super-wide band-ization.

In order to remove a noise from a power supply section thoroughly, the choke input scheme is adopted as a power circuit.
This scheme has very little harmonic content in a rectification wave, and has become control amplifier with the minimum thing.

In order to aim at a feedback-impedance reduction of a current feedback circuit and to realize further high speed-ization, the separate module HDAM SA for the buffer amplifier to which HDAM of Marantz original was evolved further is newly developed, and it carries in SC-7S1.
A total of 12 pieces are carried in the input-output buffer amplifier part by four pieces SC-7S1 at four pieces each, and V / I-conversion part.

It is possible to carry out the synchro control of two or more control amplifier by a high-speed two-way communication with the floating control bus in which the synchro drive which connects a maximum of six the sets of SC-7S1 is possible.
Moreover, from a listening point, since a level trim coordination with remote control is also possible, the sound field setups optimal at the time of a multichannel setting can be performed easily.
By using this system, a complete by amplifier interconnection of SC-7S1x2 set and MA-9S1x4 set is possible.
