Marantz SA8260 * Only a black model is a 100-set limited production. 99,800yen(August, 2003 release)

The SACD player which inherited the technology of the high-end model as the 2nd phase of a SACD multichannel player.

The multichannel play of SACD is supported.

The first current feedback type HDAM (high-speed voltage amplification module) circuitry to be carried by high order model SA-14 is used for all the channels of an audio output for the first time as a SACD multichannel player. Moreover, the current feedback type amplifier of a discrete stream composition is adopted also as filter amplifier.

The copper plate was added to the base of the multichannel output-terminal as well as SA-12S1, and each termination indirect place null impedance is realized. Thereby, it is fixed to one point and all the grand potential of six channels enables the more nearly high-definition play.

Three Convergence-Sublayer4397 by a Cirrus-Logic company are carried in DAC, and six channels are supported.
The direct interconnection also of the DSD signal is made at a multi-element switched capacitor (24 elements) with the low jitter characteristic of the SACD-DAC last stage. Thereby, the highly precise analog translation of the DSD signal is enabled.
Moreover, at the time of the conventional compact-disk play, oversampling of the PCM signal was carried out to 128fs inside SACD-DAC, and it has realized the high linearity play with the combination of a dynamic element matching (DEM) and a multi-element switched capacitor.

The proprietary mechanism module only for a SACD/compact disk audio is adopted as a mechanism part.

The large-sized core size EI transformer which used the OFC coil is carried in the power-source part.

The original capacitor only for an audio (3300 micro F/25V) which repeated the trial production audition and was developed is adopted as a power-source block capacitor.

The headphone-output circuitry is considered as the discrete stream composition which carries the high high-speed electric-current buffer amplifier of drive capacity.

The oscillation is eliminated by having adopted the double layered chassis as a chassis structure, and adopting a 1.6mm thickness steel plate (1.3kg) as a bottom chassis.

The switching of Custom all (all the channel wide band plays) which is effective when hearing it by the system corresponding to SACD, and Standard all used when hearing it by the conventional system is enabled with a LPF switchpoint.

The De Dis play-off functionality is carried, the pulse noise generated from a vacuum fluorescent tube is stopped, and the influence of a noise can be prevented.

The TEXT intelligence currently used for SACD or compact-disk disk can be displayed.

The timer play which specified the track to hear in combination with an external timer can be performed.

There was a black model of 100 determinations other than a gold model.

Wireless remote control is attached.
