The compact disk player which introduced all the technical results of compact-disk technology of a Marantz, inherited the design of the high-end model, and was developed.

Original Z filter which consisted of an oversampling digital filter, a digital analog converter, and a 3rd bessel low pass filter 4 times is carried in the D-A-conversion part.
The tone quality is improved by using a low pass filter as the low following bessel type excellent in the phase response, and the pass band width of Z filter amounts to 30kHz, and has become what was excellent also in the phase response and the transient response property.

2D / A converter scheme which processes the signal of each right and left by an exclusive digital analog converter were adopted, the phase rotation was banished, and the phase response is improved.

The swing arm pickup which drives a micro laser pickup with a perfect dynamic balance type arm is carried in the pickup part.
It is fixed to the aluminum die-casting base, and the swing arm mechanism is controlled by the powerful servo, and is raising trances capacity.

The aluminum die-casting chassis is adopted and the internal fine oscillation of an extraneous vibration, a rotation system, etc. is suppressed.

A maximum of 99 direct accesses are possible. Moreover, the random access special NetWare program of a maximum of 20 music, the skip play, the repeat function, etc. are carried.

The digital display which the number of music in a disk, the numbering of the music under total time and performance, the numbering of lapsed time and special-NetWare-program music, etc. understand is carried.

The direct play functionality is carried, if a direct play is pushed from the status which pulled out the disk tray, a disk tray will close automatically and a performance will be started.
